Diagnostic clarity
Anxiety? ADHD? Both?Something else?
Trouble concentrating, feeling overwhelmed, procrastination and racing thoughts can come from very different places. A comprehensive evaluation helps clarify the pattern for children, teens and adults.
ADHD Evaluation
Both anxiety and ADHD can look like
- Difficulty concentrating
- Feeling overwhelmed
- Procrastination
- Restlessness
- Racing thoughts
- Trouble finishing tasks
How we approach it
Symptoms are the starting point, not the final diagnosis.
Timing matters.
Did these patterns begin in childhood or adolescence? Are they present across settings, even when anxiety is well controlled?
Women and girls can be missed.
ADHD may show up as internal restlessness, disorganization and overwhelm, or as years of compensating until demands exceed coping strategies.
A checklist alone can't tell you.
We look at history, developmental pattern, functional impact and other conditions. Neurocognitive testing can add objective information.
