Dr. Lauren Hansen founded Bloom Psychiatry after years in obstetric and gynecologic practice. She is board certified in both psychiatric mental health and women's health, and her clinical focus sits where the two meet, especially pregnancy, postpartum and perimenopause.
She also has particular expertise in bipolar disorder and mixed features, and in ADHD diagnosed later in life. Outside Bloom, she serves as medical advisor to Delilah Counseling, teaches as adjunct faculty at Purdue Global University and is president-elect of the Tennessee chapter of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association.
Lauren is passionate about providing unbiased education on mental health treatment, especially during the perinatal period, empowering patients and clinicians alike to make informed decisions.
